English Idiom of the Day – Easier Said Than Done

Easier Said Than Done

It is easier to talk about something than to do it!  This phrase is used when something seems like a good idea but it would be difficult to do.

Example Usage:  The doctor said I should stop smoking but that is easier said than done.
